The Purpose of my Project is to see what happens if you paint over metal, and if you do I will tell you what Paint or Paint Finish But I only choose Paint Finish (run-on). There has been a bunch of problems about there houses being un-safe for there children (source?) (so how would your project help solve this problem?)
History To the great majority of people, corrosion means rust, an almost universal object of hatred. Rust is ,of course, the name which has more recently been specifically reserved for the corrosion of iron , while corrosion is the destructive phenomenon which affects almost all metals. In the eleventh century, a Norman knight, William de Lacy , lost his way during a hunting expedition into the thickly wooded and swampy Vale of Ewes, in Wales (source?).("Rust in History"Roberge, P. 2013 Corrosion Doctors.com)
PROCESS (Explain how rust forms and what it is) Rust is Formed In Many Ways and Places. You can mainly find it on Metal like Shower Heads, Bath Tubs, Sinks, and Grills
The Main Catalyst for the rusting process is water. "Iron or steel structures might appear to be solid, but water molecules can penetrate the microscopic pits and cracks in any exposed metal. The Hydrogen atoms present in Water molecules can combine with other elements to form acids, which will eventually cause more metal to be exposed. (source?)("How Does Rust?"2013.Discovery.Com)
(Explain how paint can help prevent rust) Paint or Paint Finish can be used to prevent rust from appearing on Metal.
